We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to talk with you and look after you, we hold it securely, we never sell it, and you can ask us at any time what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it. This policy explains the details, and how we meet our obligations under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
Contact form. Your name, email, country, whether you’re an investor, business owner, or adviser, and your message.
Investor questionnaire. Your answers about where you are on the AIP pathway, your investment intentions, and your contact details, so we can make our first conversation useful.
Call bookings. Your name, email, and chosen time when you book a call with us.
Email. Anything you choose to send us at contact@keacapital.co.nz or owners@kcp.nz.
Website analytics. Standard, largely anonymised usage data (pages visited, device type) to understand how the site is used.
Why we collect it
To respond to you, and to prepare for and hold conversations you’ve asked for.
To assess whether KEA is a good fit for you (and you for KEA), including whether you may be an eligible wholesale investor before we share any offer materials.
To keep in touch about KEA where you’ve asked us to. We don’t send marketing lists or spam.
To meet our legal obligations, including under New Zealand financial markets and AML/KYC law where a relationship progresses.
Where it lives, and who touches it
Your information is held by Kea Capital Partners and the small number of service providers who run our website and tools for us: our website platform (Framer), our forms provider (Tally), our scheduling tool, and our email provider. They process your information on our behalf and can’t use it for their own purposes. Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand; we use reputable providers whose safeguards are comparable to New Zealand’s. We never sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else for their marketing.
If our conversation progresses and you ask us to, we may introduce you to independent advisers (immigration, tax, legal, property). We share only what’s needed for the introduction, and only with your agreement.
How long we keep it
As long as we have a genuine reason to: an active conversation, a relationship with us, or a legal obligation. If none of those apply, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@keacapital.co.nz and we’ll respond promptly. If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll do our best to put it right; you can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
